IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility, Salary & Application Details

The IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026 drive is being organised by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) through the Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks, referred to as CRP-RRBs XV. The recruitment involves various Regional Rural Banks, including Tamil Nadu Grama Bank, Kerala Grameena Bank, Karnataka Grameena Bank, Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank, Maharashtra Gramin Bank, Rajasthan Gramin Bank and Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank, along with other participating RRBs.

The eligibility conditions differ according to the position. Candidates applying for an RRB should also satisfy the prescribed local-language requirement of the concerned bank. Basic computer knowledge is useful for these positions.

For Officer Scale-II – General Banking Officer, applicants should have a degree with at least 50% marks and two years of relevant experience.

For the IT Officer position, candidates need a relevant qualification in areas such as computer science, information technology or electronics, with a minimum of 50% marks and one year of relevant experience.

Candidates applying for CA, Law, Treasury, Marketing and Agriculture Officer positions must possess the respective professional qualification and required work experience specified for the post.

For Officer Scale-III, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and a minimum of five years of officer-level experience in a bank or financial institution.

The age requirement is different for each category of post. Office Assistant applicants should be 18 to 28 years old. For Officer Scale-I, the candidate should be above 18 and below 30 years.

For Officer Scale-II, the prescribed age is above 21 and below 32 years. Candidates applying for Officer Scale-III should be above 21 and below 40 years.

Eligible candidates from reserved categories can receive age relaxation according to the applicable Government of India rules.

The posts offered through this recruitment are regular positions in participating Regional Rural Banks. The pay scale, allowances and other benefits differ depending on the position and officer level.
